Anchorage Festival of Music

Lars Odsather is currently pursuing his masters degree in classical guitar performance at the University of Arizona after receiving his bachelors degree at the University of Idaho. A seasoned competitor, Lars has received awards in the 19th annual Northwest Guitar Festival and the Anchorage Festival of Music Young Artists competitions. At the age of nine, Lars began his musical training as a violinist in Alaska, which is home and inspiration to him. Throughout his experiences in music camps and concerts, his passions moved him to the classical guitar. He feels most comfortable using this instrument to express his musical talents in promoting music of present and past ages for posterity.
