Christine Harada Li

Violinist Christine Harada Li is from Anchorage, Alaska and is 22 years old.
   
Ms. Li grew up in a musical family and started playing both the violin and piano at age 5, studying with Beverly Beheim and Rumi Smith. She won numerous awards and competitions including the 2009 Anchorage Youth Symphony Concerto Competition and 2009 Mary and Lucian Cassetta Scholarship.

Christine has participated in numerous festivals here in the US and abroad.  Presently she studies at the University of Michigan with Yehonatan Berick and will begin her senior year in the fall. 

She will be presented in  recital on Monday, August 20, 2012 at 7:30 pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church - 3900 Wisconsin St. in Anchorage.  Pianist and former program director, Juliana Osinchuk will accompany the young artist.
